Teen, 16 years old Written by L. Ferguson August 15, It has a dull plot a not very well thought out story and is overall just dry and boring.

There were about 3 good parts but the rest just wasn't worth the time. I also thought the violence was kinda high for a PG Teen, 15 years old Written by evolinag July 7, Entertaining buddy movie mixes comedy and action. Teens and up. While the movie is not a serious superhero movie like "The Dark Knight", it is really entertaining. Going a think line between action and comedy, it is one of the fewer mainstream flicks that is really diverting, without trying to be something great.

It is exactly what you can call original, but also it is not dumb or boring. I is perfect fpr just having fun when watching a movie. The movie has some action violence, mostly combat fights, chase scenes, etc.

The most violent scene is when a man has his eyes impaled by wooden sticks it is brief and action-ish, and not as strong as it sounds - the PG is perfect. There are several crude jokes and huge amounts of PG language. Suitable for teens and up. Teen, 15 years old Written by Mr. Tights June 5, If I could rate this movie it would be: PG Sequences of violence and action, sensuality, and language. Teen, 14 years old Written by No Name, for real.

April 28, This movies freakin funny This review Kid, 6 years old March 19, The Green Hornet This movie was very good. The movie however has some bad language. Also there is drinking and a few brand names such as red bull.

Overall it is a good movie except for those minor details. Teen, 16 years old Written by hansolo95 September 22, A very fun movie, but know your kid!

Oh boy This is a crazy one. The Green Hornet is a movie that in every legal aspect, stays within the PG rating This is a movie that I honestly do not think should have been marketed to kids. CommonSenseMedia is right in saying that this is more of a "bromance" than an inspiring superhero movie. For those who enjoy the 80's, think of it as Bill and Ted meets Batman, cus that is pretty much all it is, minus the sense of compassion and duty.

These two drink hard, fight hard, and womanize like teenagers Kato a little less than Britt. Well, let's get down to it. People are shot and killed many, many times By Britt, Kato, and the bad guys. There are also scenes of people being crushed by large objects, elevator, car, etc In addition to one scene of a person getting stabbed in both eyes by sticks of wood.

All of this is shown onscreen, and the last two deaths in the film look like something out of The Expendables. I did enjoy the fact that Cameron Diaz's character didn't end up falling in love with either of the male leads, though both of them were in love with, and fought over, her. There is a pretty good message about ethical truth in the news.

If he or she is more likely to absorb the bad messages and ignore the good, then by all means do not let them see it, because if YOU think that they'll be influenced, then with this movie, they definetely will. On the other hand, if you trust your child's judgement when it comes to stuff like this, then definetely give it a shot. This is a very fun movie, and me and my parents both loved it.

Seth Rogen proved in Take this Waltz that he can play a character that isn't just Seth Rogen speaking someone else's words, but this is Seth Rogen speaking someone else's words. The rest of the cast is a comic book farce with each character playing type with no dimension. The plot is about as predictable as it could be without a single twist or variation from the formula.

Overall, I hope Seth Rogen got a lot of money for this film because aside from that, the film fills no other purpose. Jim H Super Reviewer. Jan 21, I am assuming that the low score this one received was because people were expecting a more faithful reimagining of their childhood superhero instead of Seth Rogen! Clearly, I am not here to defend the film. I am here to state the obvious: 1 Michel Gondry is completely dependent on a good screenwriter for then complementing such script with his vision I am looking at you, Kaufman , and 2 Gondry's inconstant quality variance is comparable to that of David Gordon Green.

Everything listed so far is disturbing and disappointing, but are also potential elements that may distract our vision from what is a well-paced and awfully entertaining ride with Seth Rogen and Jay Chou accomplishing a great chemistry that nobody would have put a single bet on.

Every single superhero story needs a readjustment to today's standards.
